Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Szoboszlai updates and Olmo, Tierney to Premier League rival, Declan Rice latest

MORNING GOONERS

Arsenal are keeping tabs on RB Leipzig pair Dominik Szoboszlai and Dani Olmo.

The Gunners were one of 30 clubs who had scouts in attendance for Bayern Munich’s 3-1 loss to Leipzig, according to 90min.

The North Londoners once tried to sign Olmo in 2021 and may revive their interest in the summer transfer window.

Szoboszlai is said to have a release clause worth £61million, while the Bundesliga giants would also sell his Spanish team-mate for as little as £26m due to his contract expiring next summer.

Liverpool and Newcastle were also said to be in attendance watching both Arsenal targets.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are bracing for a bid for Kieran Tierney from Premier League rivals Newcastle.

But that’s not all as the Magpies are also keeping tabs on Arsenal’s top targets Moises Caicedo and Mason Mount of Brighton and Chelsea respectively.

According to The Independent, the Toon are in the hunt for top-quality reinforcements ahead of their Champions League comeback.

The report adds Eddie Howe and co have also targeted Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse and Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher on top of long-term target James Maddison of Leicester.

And West Ham believe Manchester United will hijack Arsenal’s bid for Declan Rice.

The Hammers are confident of getting their full asking price of £100m-plus for Rice.

According to the Daily Mail, the East Londoners are ready to hold out for much more as they believe United are preparing a much bigger offer.

It comes as the Gunners line up three potential replacements for the midfielder.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is still keen on Brighton star Caicedo, Real Sociedad ace Martin Zubimendi and Wolves captain Ruben Neves.

Finally, Arsenal are among the clubs monitoring Bayer Leverkusen ace Edmond Tapsoba.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims the Gunners and Tottenham, among others, are interested in launching bids for Tapsoba this summer.

The centre-back has developed into one of the Bundesliga’s best defenders after he was linked with Chelsea last summer.

But Leverkusen may demand upwards of £60m for the Burkina Faso international.
