Marlia Dias Mendonca is Brazilian singer, songwriter and instrumentalist 22 July 1995 – 5 November 2021. She is posthumously referred to in Brazil as the queen of sofrencia which is a subgenre of sertanejo music. She is also credited with revolutionizing the world of sertanejo music and contributing to female empowerment.

Personal life:

Mendonça got engaged to businessman Yugnir ngelo in December 2016 after dating him in March 2015. She cut off the friendship in August 2017, expressing she was excessively youthful for such a commitment. Subsequent to keeping up with easygoing connections in May 2019.

she uncovered she had been in a committed relationship for a very long time with individual vocalist and lyricist Murilo Fit. The couple got married and moved in together. Mendonca and four others boarded an air taxi on november 5 2021, for Caratinga Minas Gerais Brazil where she was scheduled to perform at a local concert. The plane crashed killing Mendonca her uncle who was likewise her chief her maker and two team individuals.
