Over the years, Netflix has earned a number of success stories with the popularity of their shows, with the arrival of Chris Van Dusen’s historical fiction series in December 2020 proving to be an important one. It returned for season 2 in 2022, but now it’s time for a spin-off thanks to Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story is made up of six episodes in total and they were all released simultaneously on Netflix on Thursday, May 4th 2023.
Unlike the latest seasons of Firefly Lane and You, Queen Charlotte season 1 hasn’t been split into parts, so there are no more episodes as part of this season to wait for.

Is Bridgerton renewed for season 3?
Although Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story season 2 is yet to be announced, it’s already been confirmed that Bridgerton is returning for seasons 3 and 4.
The decision to renew the hit series for not one but two more seasons was announced in April 2021, long before the second season had even premiered.
“Bridgerton swept us off our feet,” Netflix’s VP of global TV, Bela Bajaria, said in a statement. “The creative team, led by Shonda, knew the material and delivered a beautiful, emotional, romantic drama for our members… We’re planning to be in the ‘Bridgerton’ business for a long time to come.”
We’re sure fans will be thrilled about that—more, more more.
‘It was really bizarre and surreal’
India recently spoke to Vogue about stepping into the titular role.
“It was really bizarre and surreal—Bridgerton is its own universe, like Marvel,” she began to explain.
“It felt so unreachable, and it didn’t feel real for the longest time. It was probably when I went in for my first costume fitting that I thought, okay, this is actually happening.”
