Just days before he lost control in a deadly high-speed crash, rally driver Craig Breen sent a chilling message on social media. Just a few days prior to his deadly collision during practice runs, Craig Breen published an unsettling message on social media.
The horrific crash claimed the star’s life at the age of 33, according to The Sun. Prior to the Croatia Rally the next week, the Irish driver was testing the Hyundai i20 N Rally1 when he crashed with a pole between Stari Golubovac and Lobora. James Fulton, the co-driver, was unharmed, but it is now known that Breen tragically passed away.

Breen’s team, Hyundai Motorsport, and the police have stated they are looking into the event. The collision actually happened around 12.40 p.m. local time, according to the authorities.
“Hyundai Motorsport is deeply saddened to confirm that driver Craig Breen lost his life today following an accident during the pre-event test for Croatia Rally,” read a statement from Hyundai.
James Fulton, the co-driver, was unharmed in the collision that happened shortly after noon local time. Hyundai Motorsport extends its deepest sympathies to Craig’s loved ones, friends, and devoted followers. “Hyundai Motorsport will make no further comments at this time.”
On social media, tributes to Breen have flooded in from people including FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem. The FIA sends its deepest sympathies to Craig Breen’s family and friends following his demise in a private testing accident, he stated. “At this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones and the Rally community.”
