After winning his first-ever foreign award, popular Nigerian skit maker Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu aka Sabinus was honored in far-off Rwanda.
At the recently finished Rwanda International Movie Awardsbat Crown Conference on Saturday, Sabinus took home the prize for “Best International Creator.”
Mr. Funny was named among the winners in the international category along with three other Nigerians: Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Ini Edo, and IK Ogbonna.
RMD was given the honor for “Best Legendary Actor” while Ini Edo and IK Ogbonna won the titles of “Best Actress International” and “Best Actor International,” respectively.
The actor and comedian announced his most recent accomplishment and thanked his followers for their love and support by posting pictures of himself posing with his award on his Instagram page.
“Thanks For The Love And Support, Guys! 2023 Rwanda International Movie Awards, Won African Content Creator Award,” he added.
