Drama at Plateau House of Assembly as Speaker Abok resumes after Court Judgement

After being reinstated by the court, the beleaguered Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba, has taken over the speaker’s office space and started his duties.

According to reports, Hon. Abok arrived at the Assembly building just before nine o’clock on Tuesday and then proceeded with a few legislators directly to the Speaker’s office.

When some lawmakers were spotted with the speaker in his office, indicating that the house may likely convene in plenary today, security forces forcefully sealed the Plateau State House of Assembly’s premises.
