Plateau The Major general for Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, Hon. Isaac Kyale Kwallu, and Hon. Fom Gwottson have been congratulated by Our Heritage Revival Initiative (POHri) for winning the recently ended 2023 National Elections, which took place on February 25 and March 18, 2023.
After receiving their documents of return from the nation’s election umpire, INEC, the trio of group members were urged by POHri Chairman, Hon. Alexander Kwapnoe, to view their triumph as God’s will and be ready to guide the people in a trustworthy manner.
“You are all participants of our renowned organization, and we are pleased to see you at different levels. We have high hopes that you would give the people of Plateau State stewardship and firmly establish excellent administration.
“We are hopeful that you will uphold the trust and trust placed in you by the citizens of the state and that you will perform at your highest level to deserve the higher commitment to you.
“To the Governor-elect, we urge you to be gracious in your win, welcome your opponents, and use their ideas and designs to make the Plateau State better, bigger, and more affluent. We implore you to work toward creating a wealthy, unified, and united Plateau State.
He continued, “To our National and State Assembly Members-elect, we call on you to create legislation that will directly benefit the unity and progress of the Country and State, carry out supervision responsibilities, and give effective representation to the people.
Hon. Kwapnoe urged those who ran against them to work together to create the Plateau of our dreams by directing all elected officials to put the needs of the people as a whole ahead of any local interests.
He urged anybody who were unhappy with the results of the elections to file complaints through the proper and accessible methods.
Kwapnoe also promised that they will always have the party’s backing to succeed in their respective offices.
“We have great expectations for you in terms of representation, developing policies, and putting them into action. For the benefit of the State and Nation, Nigeria and Plateau State in particular are endowed with enormous potentials, both natural and human. In order to fulfill your campaign pledges and provide the public the benefits of democracy, you must remain focused, he suggested.
He predicted that the group will keep interacting with everyone for the benefit of society.
He sent his warmest wishes to the elected officials as they prepared for their inaugurations on May 29, 2023, and June 12, 2023, respectively.
The POHri secretary, Friday Bako, provided the press media with the congratulations letter from the POHri Chairman.
