Tomorrow, March 30, 2023, at 10 a.m., at the State Headquarters of the Commission along Miango Road in Jos, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, the newly elected governor of Plateau State, and the elected members of the 10th State House of Assembly will receive their certificates of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The gathering is anticipated to include PDP members, sympathizers, and admirers as well as individuals from other political perspectives who want to see and take part in a new era on the Plateau under the direction of Barr. Mutfwang as the incoming Governor of Plateau State.
Hon. Yiljap Abraham, the Director of the Directorate of Media and Publicity Mutfwang-Piyo Campaign Council Plateau State, made a hint that a reception would take place at the Tamarald Event Centre, close to the Jos International Breweries off Jonah David Jang Way, Jos, following the collection of certificates of return.
Recall that on March 18, 2023, the PDP candidate Barr. Mutfwang was declared the winner of the state-wide governorship election.
Moreover, PDP received 16 of the 24 seats in the Plateau State House of Assembly, while APC received 7, and YPP received 1.
The announcement of Barr. Caleb Mutfwang as the victor of the governorship election was met with joy throughout the State, and many people described it as the start of a new dawn.
