Hon. Da’a urged them to make the most of the season by putting the best Islamic teachings—such as self-sacrifice, kindness, and love of humanity—into action.

As we begin the 30 days of fasting, let us not forget that Ramadan is not only about refraining from eating and drinking, but also a reminder to us to refrain from all kinds of evils and transgressions that harm humanity, Da’a said in a message of goodwill released by his media adviser, Hon. Stephen Sarki Musa, on Wednesday.

The Council Boss claims that Ramadan is distinguished by fasting from dawn till sunset, which causes both the wealthy and the poor to experience hunger together and therefore deepens the links between the haves and the have-nots.

“I make a plea to wealthy people and organizations to always share food and drinks with the society’s underprivileged citizens.

“Because God will triple our benefits for doing good things if we share our blessings with others,”

For the course of the holy month of Ramadan, the Chairman prayed to God for fortitude and spiritual determination.
