According to Leadership Newspaper, the correction was provided by his assistant.

The General Overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministries was cited in prior reports as indicating that he has finished his work on earth and will depart shortly.

In the aforementioned viral video, Odumeje described how he told his little son (King David) that he would soon be leaving.

The preacher reportedly told his kid to look for his mother and brothers once he departs.

The divisive cleric emphasized that his mission in coming to this earth had been accomplished.

However, Odumeje’s aide claimed that the prophet did not make such a claim in an interview with Leadership newspaper on Tuesday.

It is not true (that prophet Odumeje said during Church service last Sunday that he will die soon)

“You know that some people when they want to destroy someone’s image, they will write something with your name and put it in a YouTube and say that you said it,” the news platform quoted Okoye saying on behalf of Odumeje.

She said that the prophet never instructed his son to take care of his house and that he would die soon as reported on news platforms.
