Caleb Mutfwang, the candidate for governor of Plateau State, has vowed to lead an inclusive administration with a clear goal of developing the entire state.
In his acceptance address yesterday, Mutfwang of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) thanked Plateau residents for their support in electing him as the state’s future governor and attributed his success to God and the people. He paid homage to his fans who had died while campaigning.
“I am humbled by the confidence you have shown in me,” he remarked. I reassure all Plateau residents that I will serve as the governor of all as we start the transition process. In order to develop the entire state, I plan to establish an inclusive administration. By God’s grace, we will always act justly and fairly. I thus appeal to us all to unify as a people to face the difficulties that lie ahead.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, promised the populace of his unwavering commitment to excellent government. Also, he promised to devote the following four years to the state’s problems.

But Kano APC has rejected the governorship election results that produced NNPP’s Yusuf.
Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Abbas, during a briefing in Kano, yesterday, called for the review of the election results within one week.
Abbas, who was represented by the party’s Legal Adviser, Abdul Fagge, said the election should be declared inconclusive because the cancelled votes were greater than the margin between the first and the second parties.
He, however, the drew attention to the cancellation of 16 House of Assembly elections in the state, sighting violence as the reason, while the same votes were considered in collating the governorship election.
However, the APC candidate, Nasiru Gawuna, called for calm, while reiterating his agreement with the party’s decision.
