The federal government will arraign Tukur Mamu, a former terrorist negotiator, today, March 21, on a 10-count complaint that includes, among other things, allegations of financing terrorism.

On behalf of the FG, the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) will present Mamu for arraignment before Judge Inyang Ekwo of a Federal High Court in Abuja.
As previously reported, Justice Nkeonye Maha of a sister court authorized the Department of State Services (DSS) to hold the former terrorists’ negotiator for 60 days in order to allow it to complete its investigation into the suspect who oversaw negotiations with the terrorists for the release of the Abuja-Kaduna train passengers who were kidnapped in March 2022.
