The Independent National Electoral Commission has proclaimed Francis Nwifuru, the APC’s nominee for governor on March 18, as the victor of the election in Ebonyi State (INEC).

Ifeanyi Odii of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received 80,191 votes, was Nwifuru’s closest competitor. Nwifuru is the Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly.
All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate Ben Odo received 52,189 votes.
