Plateau Decides: PDP in early lead, wins 7 LGs, APC 6, pending 4 LGs

The PDP won in the local government areas of Barakin-Ladi, Bassa, Langtang South, Langtang North, Riyom, Mangu, and Mikang, while the APC triumphed in Jos East, Kanke, Pankshin, Wase, Kanam, and Shendam, according to the results submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission by the returning officers from the local governments.

According to the data from the thirteen local governments that have so far been provided, Lawyer Caleb Muftwang of the People’s Democratic Party is in the lead with 1, 102 total votes.

Out of the thirteen council areas that have been announced thus far, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Plateau State has won in seven local government areas, while Professor Nentawe Yiltwada, the APC’s candidate, has won in six local governments.

There are seventeen local government areas in Plateau State; the Independent National Electoral Commission has announced the results for thirteen of them, while Qua’Pan, Jos North, Jos South, and Bokkos local governments have yet to do so.

The results are broken down as follows:

Jos East Local Government:

APC 11, 852, LP 1,347, and PDP 9,290.

 

Barakin-Ladi local government :

APC 18,568, LP 4118 and PDP 32, 119.

 

Bassa local government :

APC 25, 788, LP 4118, PDP 29, 135

 

Langtang South local government :

APC 12, 437, LP 846, PDP 16, 104.

 

Shendam local government :
