Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has expressed sympathy to the Traditional Rulers Council in the territory on the passing of Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu, the Etsu of Yaba chiefdom in the Abaji Area Council
The monarch reportedly collapsed and passed away in his palace on Thursday after performing an ablution in order to follow Magrib prayers.Speaking as he conducted the monarch’s burial prayers yesterday in Yaba, Bello praised the late monarch as an honorable ruler who spent his entire life putting the needs of his community first.
He sent the Yaba chiefdom’s residents and the Abaji Area Council as a whole his sincere condolences on the passing of the adored traditional leader.
In his remarks, the Ona of Abaji and head of the FCT Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, hailed the late Etsu as a peace-loving individual who made a significant contribution to the growth of the FCT and the Yaba chiefdom.
He asked God to forgive the deceased and begged everyone who knew him to pray for the deceased’s soul to find peace.
