Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar (rtd), an All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for governor of Bauchi State, has reiterated that three of his security personnel were shot during the most recent violent event in the Duguri, Alkaleri Local Government Area (LGA).

Addressing to reporters on Friday, Sadique claimed that his troops had been successful in taking two firearms away from the assailants.
He stated that the APC would not be intimidated and expressed concerns about the potential use of thugs on election day.
Bala Mohammed, the governor, was urged by the former chief of the air staff to concentrate on state administration issues.
