Train-BRT crash: 32 survivors discharged – Lagos govt

The collision between a train and a staff bus on Thursday in the Ikeja region of the state resulted in the rescue of 32 patients, according to Prof Akin Abayomi, the commissioner for health for Lagos State.

At a Friday press conference at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Abayomi revealed this to the media (LASUTH).

102 casualties were reported as a result of the catastrophe, the commissioner continued.

He states that there have still been six fatalities. 19 people had been released from LASUTH at the same time, along with 5 casualties from the State Accident and Emergency Centre at Old Toll Gate and 8 victims from Orile-Agege General Hospital.
